Relief for Kenyans as fuel prices decrease

Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) has announced maximum retail fuel prices in the country for the period 15th March to 14th April 2024

Super petrol decrease by ksh7.21 per litre, Diesel ksh 5.09 per litre amd Kerosene ksh 4.49 per litre this comes in a period  where kenyan shilling continues to gain against the dollar

"The prices are inclusive of the 16 per cent Value Added Tax (VAT) in line with the provisions of the finance Act 2023, the tax amendment Act 2020 and the revised rates for exercise duty adjusted for inflation as per legal notice NO. 194 of 2020" reads a statement by EPRA

Mombasa will have petrol retail at ksh 195.97,Diesel 187.21,kerosene 185.58,with Nairobi selling at 199.15 petrol, Diesel 190.38 and Kerosene 188.74.

Kisumu will have Petrol sell at  ksh 198.97,Diesel 190.59, Kerosene 188.96, on the other hand Nakuru Petrol ksh 198.21,Diesel 189.82 ,Kerosene  188.21 while Eldoret will have the prices retail at ksh 198.98 petrol, ksh 190.59 Diesel ksh 188.98 for kerosene.
