Warrant of Arrest issued against senator Mandago

Nairobi, Kenya August 16...Director of Public prosecution has ordered the arrest of Uasin Gishu senator Jackson Mandago over Finland and Canada education program saga

Parents and students who claim to have paid for the program have been demonstrating in Eldoret town urging Mandago and other county officials who are alleged to have taken part to refund the money 

The county program would see students join various universities in Finland and canada 

Subsequently this comes a week after Uasin Gishu Governor Jonathan Bii,  Senator Mandago, parents and students had a meeting concerning the matter as parents called out the leaders of mismanagement of the program demanding immediate refund of their money 

In addition Governor Bii claimed that his predecessor Mandago should be accountable for the saga adding that  everyone should carry their own cross while distancing himself from the matter  

This comes as Uasin Gishu county hosts devolution conference 2023
