Fuel prices reduce in the latest EPRA monthly review


NAIROBI, Kenya , June 14...According to the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) petroleum pump price for Super Petrol, Diesel and Kerosene decrease by KShs.3.00, KShs.6.08 and KShs.5.71 per litre respectively. 

In Nairobi, Super Petrol, Diesel and Kerosene will now retail at Kshs.189.84, Kshs.173.10 and Kshs.163.05 effective midnight for the next 30 days. 

Subsequently Mombasa Petroleum, Diesel and Kerosene will retail at Kshs 186.66, Kshs 169.93 and 160.00.

In Nakuru Petroleum, Diesel and Kerosene set to retail at Kshs 188.90, Kshs 172.54 and 162.57 while in Kisumu Petroleum will retail at Ksh 189.66, Diesel  Kshs 173.31 and Kerosene Kshs 163.34.

In addition Eldoret Kshs 189.67 for Petroleum, Kshs 173.31 for Diesel and Kshs 163.34 for Kerosene.

"The prices are inclusive of the 16% Value Added Tax (VAT) in line with the provisions of the Finance Act 2023, the Tax Laws (Amendment) Act 2020 and the revised rates for excise duty adjusted for inflation as per Legal Notice No. 194 of 2020"
