NAIROBI, Kenya, July 25...The coalition led by Co-principal H.E Dr. Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka in a press briefing have reiterated that they neither support or will take part in the proposed Broad-Based Government of National Unity.

"We believe that this is the greatest betrayal of Kenyans especially Gen Z and millenials" said Dr. Kalonzo.

This comes a day after President William Ruto nominated some leaders of its constituent party ODM to the cabinet, Azimio added that the move has attempts to destroy Multiparty democracy and seize control of parliamentary system.

"Let it be known that those members who have accepted nomination to join Ruto's cabinet are doing so in their individual capacity" added Kalonzo

"As a coalition, we affirm our commitment to stand against the injustices and the police brutality and we demand arrest and prosecution of all the officers who shot and killed Gen Z protesters"

Azimio notes that Dr. Kalonzo will continue to guide the coalition as Hon. Raila Odinga Concentrates on the African Union Chairmanship (AUC) seat.
