CS Oparanya urges Kenyan Entrepreneurs to share, learn and create new business links at EAC MSMEs Trade fair 2024 edition

NAIROBI, Kenya, Oct 7...The 24th East African Community MSMEs trade fair is set to be held in Juba, South Sudan from 26th October 2024 to 5th November 2024 with the theme ' Promotion of Unique innovations and skills development among EAC MSMEs'.

The event will present an opportunity for over 300 Kenyan MSMEs to further understand emerging market dynamic and business practices to facilitate business linkages for increased trade.

"I encourage Kenyan entrepreneurs to take full advantage of the opportunities offered by this platform to share learn from each other, create new business links, launch new products and services and undertake test marketing while enhancing the brand and corporate image of their products and enterprises". Said CS Oparanya.

The 2024 trade fair edition serves to give exceptional commercial prospects for exploiting new markets frontiers and showcasing regional brands of both goods and services.      

In addition government is exploring several mechanisms of improving regional trade as well as enterprise export competitiveness for a number of products with high growth potential to meet existing supply gaps particularly in global markets.

"As we launch this committee, I urge them to vet participating MSME products to ensure the image and brand of Kenya and the sector is well represented and showcased through high quality products and services", added Oparanya.

Over 1,500 MSMEs participating not only will showcase their products and innovative services but equally share experiences on some of their lives.
