CS Murkomen announces introduction of new features for school buses to prevent accidents

NAIROBI,Kenya Mar 19... Cabinet secretary for Transport Kipchumba Murkomen has issued a directive to school bus builders for use of material and  technology that will protect passengers in case of accidents  to curb accidents.  The statement comes following a series of accidents involving Kenyatta University bus and truck in Voi claiming lives of  at least 11 students and 46 others injured perished where by in Bomet county a matatu rammed into a tractor killing 5 people on spot leaving others with injuries and on Monday Kapsabet school bus overturned on Kabarnet marigat road killing a teacher and a student. The African Union executive council says that Eastern Africa region to submit candidates for the position of the Chairperson of Africa commissioj union(AUC), election is schedule for February 2025.
