Kenya set to host Africa Climate Summit 2023

Nairobi, Kenya August 30... Heads of state and other government officials are set to attend the African climate summit which will address global warming effects disrupting lives globally 

The summit will be held in Nairobi, Kenya from 4th September to 6th September 

In addition Kenya expects about 30, 000 delegates during the summit as well as high level representatives of development partners , international institution as well as subject expert will grace the event 

"Climate Change countinues to pose existential to the future security and stability of the country , fueled by scarcity of pasture , water and natural resources " noted the Cabinet 

In June 2023 president Ruto urge for measures onto it saying that it will lead to decarbobization of the global economy , adaptation, resilience, protection and regeneration of nature

The summit is an affirmation of Kenya's global leadership in climate change
