Tik Tok to moderate its content

Nairobi, Kenya August 24...The popular shot-video service will work with Kenyan Govenment in reviewing content 

This comes after a section of Kenyans called on the government to regulate the videos shown in the app claiming that there is much explicit content being displayed 

President William Ruto held a virtual  meeting with the shot-video hosting service CEO Shou ZI chew, Ruto said that the move will ensure that content on the platform adheres to community guidelines 

Shou Zi chew added that the platform will set up it offices in Kenya to carry on and oversee its operations in the country and Africa

The new development means that content creators posting inappropriate content will have the content flugged down
