Unga Group re-launches Amana range of nutritious consumer food
Nairobi, Kenya August 24...Unga group limited announces strategic plan to capture a larger share of local packed consumer of local consumer foods market by re-introducing an expanding range of nutritious products under its popular Amana brand
The relaunch of Amana products first introduced in 2014 is part of a KSH 521 million 3-year market repositioning project by the firm pursuing a comprehensive food strategy to boosts its cooperate value as well as return of investment for its shareholders

Among the features of Amana brand includes yellow beans, black beans, rosecco beans , Nyayo beans, Green grams, Basmati and pishore rice will feature an expanded portfolio including premium sugar and long grain rice
Speaking during the relaunch Unga group managing director Mr Joseph choge said the firm is banking in growing demand of nutritious food
In addition Choge said the company is striving to deliver best quality brands to the market that offer great value for market and trusted for consumer satisfaction
Re-introduction will positively impact local farmers as the company will prioritize local sourcing for all it products
"The re-introduction of Amana with a clear retail to go market strategy in one of our cooperate priorities at Unga in our product diversification beyond maize, porridge, and wheat floor products as we seek to maximize value for our customer and shareholders" stated Choge
